Affiliates

In this day and age it is becoming more common for individuals to be working as independent advisors and consultants. For most of you it is a free choice and a preferred way of working as it allows greater flexibility and freedom, as well as giving a sense of being your own boss. This is all well and good, however, you still need to optimise making the right connections and having your details available for businesses needing your type of skills and experience. There are various ways and you no doubt already have one in place. StarrWatch.com is offering a second or alternative option which can only be of assistance to you to ensure you are considered for opportunities that you are probably not even aware of.  

How it works. Businesses seeking particular types of consultants will send a request based on the criteria set out in the registration form. Only if there is a positive return, will they be charged a nominal administration fee for this service. If your details meet their criteria then your details are sent to them and you will be advised of that fact. You would negotiate directly with that business and mutually agree the working relationship and your fees. Up to this point there is still no cost to you at all.  

If, and only if, you are engaged by the business making the enquiry then you would be expected to pay a once off introduction fee equivalent to half a day’s earnings. This might seem excessive but actually low in percentage terms as illustrated. For 1 week this equates to 10%, 2 weeks 5%, 3 weeks 3.3%, 1 month 2.5%, 2 months 1.25% and so on. It is suggested that most affiliates would be engaged for at least 1 month i.e. a cost of only 2.5%.  

The Terms and Conditions would need to be accepted by you to ensure that the arrangements are understood but in essence are as per the points already noted above.
